SHOP WITH A TROOPER EVENT
On Thursday, December 11, 2008, the Kentucky State Police Professional Association from Post 2 conducted its 12th annual “Shop with a Trooper” program at the Parkway Plaza Mall in Madisonville.  Twelve children and their families were treated to pizza at Godfather’s.  After dinner, there was a shopping trip to Goody’s where each child was allotted $125 to spend. 
WINTER STORM HITS DECEMBER 15-16

2008 KOLLECTION FOR THE KIDS SETS RECORD
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED OUT AND WHO DONATED AT THIS YEAR'S LITE ROCK 104.9 "KOLLECTION FOR THE KIDS." THE ANNUAL EVENT RAISED MORE THAN 3000-DOLLARS IN CASH, AND SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS WORTH OF TOYS TO BENEFIT THE PRINCETON TOYS FOR TOTS CAMPAIGN, CONDUCTED BY THE PRINCETON POLICE DEPARTMENT. 2008 Princeton Christmas Parade

PRINCETON PLAYGROUND DESIGN UNVEILING
A large gathering turned out Saturday afternoon for the unveiling of the design of the proposed new playground in downtown Princeton, and to kickoff the fundraising effort in support of the project. Tom was there and took these pics of the designs and the kids who are anticipating their new playground.
CONNECTOR ROAD MEETING
A large gathering turned out for a public meeting in regards to the proposed connector road around the city of Princeton. The meeting was conducted by the Department of Highways.

REALITY STORE 2008
Students at Caldwell County Middle School got the chance to get a little taste of "real life" during this year's Realilty Store, conducted by the U.K. Cooperative Extension Service. Annette was there and took these pics.
HALLOWEEN AT THE HALL AND HAUNTED FOREST
The first ever "Halloween at the Hall" and "Haunted Forest" was a big success. A large gathering of all sorts of characters came out to the lawn at Princeton City Hall. Lite Rock 104.9 was there and took all of these great pics.
